Why you shouldn’t sign up for the Alaska Credit Card Mileage Plan

First and foremost, it would be wise to completely STAY AWAY from Bank of America (aka BofA).

This card is a scam and after using your card excessively for two years — you won’t even be able to use your “miles” to book a flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

You will receive countless letters from Alaska, begging you to join, with perks that sound too good to be true.
In the case of the Alaska Mileage Plan, your grandma was right when she told you, “When something sounds too good to be true, it is”

What Alaska will do is offer you an amazing deal, too good to turn down. In my case, it was the “buy a ticket, get the second one free *just pay the taxes” — and I thought that I was racking up miles on THAT card… the card I applied for.
Turns out, I wasn’t approved for that card.

So, they gave me one that essentially does nothing…
It doesn’t even let you use your miles unless you have over 10,000 — funny, it also said that I would earn 40,000 just for signing up.
I have spoken to both companies about the missing miles and they have bounced me back and forth between each other, going nowhere, unable to at the very least give me A perk of signing up.

This card is a lie.
It’s a scam.
& I wholeheartedly regret ever signing up.

You will too.

Don’t do it.
Your miles, your points and all the high interest you’ve paid will, in the long run,
accumulate to NOTHING.

Fuck Alaska Mileage Plan credit cards and FUCK YOU, B OF A!!!

Aka : the Bank of Assholes.
I forgive you and I am going to a) make sure to never sign up for ANYTHING related to BofA
& 2) Make sure that I am actually receiving what I purchased immediately after the purchase.
